Nature's Sculptures: Rocks Shaped by Flowing Rivers
Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand · Spring · 2024
Rivers carve through time, shaping stone into silent, enduring testaments of nature's patient artistry.
Photographing the rivers of Uttarkashi in Spring 2024 was an exercise in finding stillness amidst powerful motion. The challenge was not just to capture the water's energy, but to reveal the quiet dialogue between its relentless flow and the steadfast rock it carves. I sought moments where light, often diffused by the morning haze, would reveal the subtle textures and ancient stories etched into the stone.
